Kass Blount & The Burners is a modern jazz quartet rooted in improvisation, chemistry, and expressive storytelling. Led by vocalist Kass Blount alongside guitarist Steven Alvarez, bassist Zack Page, and drummer Joe Enright, the group brings dynamic energy and a fiery modern spirit to timeless jazz compositions.

Known for her rich vocals, playful phrasing, and fearless improvisation, Kass sings with the fluidity and inventiveness of a horn player, moving effortlessly between velvet melodies, soulful storytelling, and expressive scat singing. Inspired by jazz greats like Ella Fitzgerald, Anita O'Day, and Betty Carter, her performances are defined by intention, authenticity, and musicality - honoring the tradition of jazz while feeling fresh, intimate, and deeply alive.

Each ticket includes a three-course prix fixe dinner created by Chef Jason Trivette especially for The Downbeat.  Wine and cocktails are for purchase.  

Select between two seatings at 6:00 pm or 8:30 pm.  Seating location is based on a first-come first-serve basis.  Door open 30 minutes prior to the event.
