Known for pushing the steel pan far beyond its traditional boundaries, Scales has created a musical style that is both technically extraordinary and completely his own.
The Fourchestra has performed on stages throughout North America and Europe, toured Africa, Southeast Asia, and Central Asia as Cultural Ambassadors for the U.S. Department of State, and appeared alongside Béla Fleck for an NPR Tiny Desk Concert.
